Welcome back to another year of Batoche Idol!

Dust off your song books and get ready to show off your talent. With a live band behind you, it’s time to take center stage. Register early, as spots are limited!

Friday July 17, 7:00PM-9:00PM - Idol Preliminary Round

Saturday July 18, 11:00AM-12:00PM - Batoche Idol 2025 Performance

Saturday July 18, 1:15PM - 2:45PM - Batoche Idol Finals

Important to know:

· Batoche Idol is performed with a live band, not a karaoke track. Please select your song accordingly. Recent releases are not eligible; song requests must be from 2016 or earlier.

· When registering, please indicate your chosen performance song by selecting one of your three preferred options. Kindly list your song choices on registration form. Please note, each performer has a 3 minute set maximum.

· All participants will be required to fill out a waiver on site before participating in the competition. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign their waiver.

· All participants must agree to being photographed and filmed by MN–S and Back to Batoche Festival Partners, as indicated in the waiver, and agree to be shared on Social Media.

· Onsite registration will be available until 2 hours before the competition start time; however, online pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Pre-registration closes on Friday, July 10, 2026.

· A prize is not guaranteed for all who participate

· Professional/Paid Entertainers at the Back to Batoche Festival are not permitted to enter.

· Previous year’s (2025) winners are permitted to enter, given that they are not performing or paid for a set at Back to Batoche Days.

Idol Categories:

Junior (17 and under) - Grand Prize of $1000

Adult (18-64) - Grand Prize of $1000
Elder (65+) - Grand Prize of $1000

Please note, pre-registration is highly encouraged. Spots for Batoche Idol are limited. On site registration will include a $5 surcharge, making registration $25.
