Beginner Braiding Foundations II: Deeper Dive
Beginner Braiding Foundations II: deeper dive into hand placement, tension, parting + intro to feed-ins for beginners.
After strong feedback and lots of questions from the first session, Beginner Braiding Foundations II is a return of my second class—this time with more depth, more hands-on breakdown, and extra focus on building real confidence with technique.
This class is designed for true beginners or anyone who attended the first session and wants to strengthen their skills through more detailed guidance and repetition. We’ll revisit the core foundations of braiding and slow things down so you can fully understand the why behind each step.
What we’ll cover:
- Hand placement and control for clean, consistent braids
- Tension control and how to avoid common beginner mistakes
- Clean parting and sectioning techniques
- Building coordination and speed through repetition
- Introduction to basic feed-in technique (beginner friendly)
This is not about perfection—it’s about developing muscle memory, understanding your hands, and becoming more confident with every braid you do.
All tools and techniques will be demonstrated step-by-step, with space for learning, observing, and asking questions throughout the session.
