Beginner Stained Glass Workshop - Basic Suncatcher

Learn stained glass in a small, hands-on workshop at the NVRLND. boutique (Calgary) - home of my new studio. All materials included.

What we’ll make

In this workshop, you’ll choose from one of several simple patterns to create a small stained glass piece from start to finish. With more than 25 years of stained glass and teaching experience, I’ll guide you through design, glass cutting, foiling, soldering, and finishing in a relaxed, fun, and supportive environment.

Who this class is for

Anyone who is curious to learn the basics of stained glass and wants a taste!

Beginner: No experience required

Ages 18+ or 14+ with adult participation.

Location: NVRLND. Arts Foundation - boutique: 1048 21 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2G 1N2

Duration: ~4 hours

Small class size: Limited to 6 participants to keep things hands-on

• Light snacks and drinks
• Use of tools and equipment
• Instruction in a small group setting
• A finished piece to take home

Good to know

• Please arrive on time, we have a lot to cover and begin promptly at 6 p.m. :)
• Closed-toe shoes required - don't wear clothes you are in love with
• All supplies and equipment are provided, but you may choose to bring your own apron, safety goggles, or clean gardening gloves
• Lots of parking on-site!
• Class fees are non-refundable (*exceptions exist/spots may be transferred)
