We&#x27;re excited to be running our Beginner’s Knitting Workshop to help you take that leap into learning to knit and create gorgeous pieces.Knitting is such a fun and versatile skill to learn and there are so many things that you can make once you&#x27;ve learnt a few basic stitches. It is also a great hobby to have to help you relax and look after your everyday wellbeing.In this workshop we will start from the very beginning and you will learn all the basics including knit stitch, purl stitch, and binding off stitches to complete your project using a medium size knitting needle and worsted weight yarn. We will also introduce you to some simple patterns and send you off with all the skills and confidence you need to get started on a new project.Most materials are included and you will leave with a knitted sample.The workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those wanting to refresh their skills.MATERIALS INCLUDED:100m ball of yarnA pattern sheetMATERIALS PROVIDED DURING THE WORKSHOP :5mm straight knitting needles** If you already have 5mm straight knitting needles and would like to use that instead you may do so. If not, you can always purchase the knitting needles you are using during the workshop to complete your project at home if you can not complete it during class time or if you simply want to continue making new items another time.We will also provide some refreshments and snacks.COVID SAFETY MEASURES:* Please do not attend the studio if you are feeling unwell, have Covid 19 or have experienced any symptoms of Covid 19 in the 7 days prior to attending or have been in contact with anyone else who has had symptoms.* Please use hand sanitiser on entry and exit of the studio.We are really looking forward to welcoming you in.
