In our 8th annual city-wide festival, reconnect with Toronto and enjoy 15 days of free art, exhibitions, and experiences.

<h2>No Silence on Race and the Ontario Jewish Archives invite you to the launch of the Periphery exhibition as a part of Myseum of Toronto’s <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/intersections-festival-2023-1934599" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Intersections</a> festival. </h2><h3>Learn about the ways that multi-ethnic Jewish people in Ontario share their experiences and explore ideas of representation, intersectionality, ethnicity, race, and sexuality.  </h3><p>We’ll be celebrating the launch of this exhibition with a roundtable discussion, performances from some of Periphery’s participants, and food + drink.</p><p>Periphery, the documentary, was filmed and photographed two years ago. Where is Toronto’s Jewish community now with these conversations both within and outside of Jewish communal spaces? And, how do their experiences continue to translate within the context of the city? Explore these reflections in this exhibition and roundtable discussion.</p><p>All are welcome to join us in exploring t﻿hese questions at this exhibition launch party!</p><h3></h3><h3>A﻿bout the Roundtable Discussion</h3><p>There will be an exclusive Q&amp;A with the director of the Periphery documentary and a selection of the film’s participants, whose stories are also featured in this exhibition.</p><p>This roundtable discussion will explore speakers’ various multi-ethnic Jewish identities (e.g. mixed heritage, hyphenated identities, etc.), which are highlighted in the film and the exhibit.</p><p></p>
