The Cowichan Community Land Trust is committed to conserving, protecting, and enhancing the quality of the human and natural environment in and near the Cowichan Valley Regional District, British Columbia, Canada.We help to take care of the land and water in the Cowichan Valley for the benefit of all life now and in the future. We do this by acquiring land, entering into conservation agreements, and by providing education and support to individuals and other groups who are caring for the land.

Cowichan Land Trust

This two-day course will focus on ecological restoration through soil bioengineering techniques and options involved in restoration and reclamation of damaged ecosystems using a combination of structural materials, vegetative cuttings and other specialized methods. Day one will be a classroom session covering the topics above. Day two will be in the field with hands-on learning on a restoration project. Day one lunch is provided. Day two please bring a bagged lunch.
We are able to offer this course for 50% off thanks to our generous funders. Optional course manuals are included.
