Movies Under the Stars 2024 Schedule:Monday June 24 - Kung Fu Panda 4 (French)Friday July 19 - Kung Fu Panda 4 (English)Tuesday August 20 - Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (English)Wednesday August 21 - Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (French)Time: The show will start at dusk (approximately 9:00 pm), but we encourage you to arrive an hour early to get a good spot.Location: Lakeside (Between the Orchard Pavilion and the Lake)To help ensure everyone has a great time, please read the entire post before registering/attending. Ticketing:Please register to let us know you are coming. Why? It will help us prepare for the event and should there be any weather related postponement or cancellation, you will receive the notification directly to your email. We encourage you to come by to our Downsview Park tent when you arrive to say hello! We may even have some surprise giveaways. Getting there:You can access the lakeside via Keele St, near Downsview Park Blvd.If you’re already in the Park, follow the Circuit Path to the Orchard Pavilion.Please be advised that parking will be limited. We encourage you to walk, bike or take transit to the event if you can! What to bring:- There will be an ice cream truck at the event.- You’re also welcome to bring food and snacks, but please take any garbage with you or dispose of it in our bins to leave no trace.- Feel free to bring blankets, lawn chairs, hammocks, pillows and anything that will make your movie watching experience more enjoyable.- You may also want to consider bringing bug spray.- Pets are allowed but only if they are leashed and quiet. Please respect other attendees. Washrooms:The Orchard Pavilion washrooms will be open for the duration of the event. Weather:If heavy rain, lightning and thunderstorms are forecasted, we will be rescheduling to a later date for the safety of our staff and vendor. Emplacement : bord du lac (entre le pavillon du verger et le lac) Afin que tout le monde passe un bon moment, veuillez lire l’intégralité du message avant de vous inscrire/participer. Billetterie :Veuillez vous inscrire pour nous informer de votre venue. Pourquoi ? Cela nous aidera à préparer l'événement et, en cas de report ou d'annulation liée à la météo, vous recevrez un avis directement par courriel. Nous vous encourageons à passer à notre tente du parc Downsview à votre arrivée pour nous saluer ! Il se peut même que nous ayons quelques cadeaux surprises. Pour s’y rendre :Vous pouvez accéder au bord du lac par la rue Keele, près du boulevard Downsview Park.Si vous êtes déjà dans le parc, suivez le sentier du circuit jusqu’au pavillon du verger.Veuillez noter que le nombre de places de stationnement sera limité. Nous vous encourageons à vous rendre à l’événement à pied, à vélo ou en transport en commun, si vous le pouvez! Quoi apporter:- Il y aura un camion de crème glacée lors de l'événement.- Vous êtes invités à apporter de la nourriture et des collations, mais veuillez emporter vos déchets chez vous ou les jeter dans nos poubelles pour ne pas laisser de traces.- N'hésitez pas à apporter des couvertures, des chaises de jardin, des hamacs, des oreillers et tout ce qui peut rendre votre expérience plus agréable.- Vous pouvez également apporter de l'insecticide.- Les animaux domestiques sont autorisés, mais uniquement s'ils sont tenus en laisse et tranquilles. Toilettes :Les toilettes du pavillon du verger seront ouvertes pendant toute la durée de l’événement.
