Arts Network Ottawa knows how the Arts build strong communities. For more than 30 years, we have collaborated with communities to promote the creative, social and economic benefits of local Arts and will continue to do so. We provide an informed voice for a bilingual network, across the Ottawa region, of over 400 artists, cultural workers and arts organizations.Le Réseau des arts d’Ottawa reconnaît l'importance des arts pour renforcer les collectivités. Depuis une trentaine d'années, nous nous assurons de collaborer avec les collectivités en vue de faire connaître les avantages créatifs et socioéconomiques des arts sur la scène locale. Creative networking event for Ottawa artists | Événement de réseautage créatif pour les artistes d'Ottawa

Presented by <a href="https://www.artsnetottawa.ca" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arts Network Ottawa &amp; the Ottawa Arts Mentorship Program</a> in partnership with the <a href="https://digitalartsresourcecentre.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Digital Arts Resource Centre</a>Sunday Nov 19 | 10AM - 3PM | Arts CourtB LENDER! is a creative networking event designed to bring together artists of various disciplines to experiment and create new work together, meet new people, and get inspired. All artistic practices and levels of experience are welcome!The event consists of 3 phases, including 1) experiencing, 2) processing, and 3) sharing:1) Participants will engage in a shared activity or collective experience which will showcase local Ottawa-based creatives. At this session, we will attend <a href="https://oaggao.ca/whats-on/exhibitions/83-til-infinity/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">83 ‘TIL INFINITY</a><a href="https://oaggao.ca/whats-on/exhibitions/83-til-infinity/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">40 YEARS OF HIP-HOP IN THE OTTAWA–GATINEAU REGION</a>2) Participants will then reinterpret their subjective experience of the work by translating it into a new artistic medium. For example, after participants view a painting, they might create a poem or song articulating their perception of a work. Alsaweer,</a> an Arab-Canadian film director and multidisciplinary artist, has collaborated with various production companies on numerous TV and digital projects for broadcasters like TVOKids, Unis TV, and Bell Fibe TV1. Through her works, Deena strives to empower underrepresented voices and unite communities through the transformative power of art and creativity.
