Frog in Hand is a collaborative venture – a contemporary dance theatre network of story tellers. While our "discipline" is difficult to define, we play on a spectrum between visual art and dance, often creating installation projects and performance work that includes contemporary dance theatre. We tell stories that question human nature - stories with emotional resonance and challenging thematic material relevant to the time in which we live.Our mission is to craft narratives that question human nature through the creation and performance of powerful new work, and to transfer knowledge / wisdom through outreach and engagement with diverse communities.

<H2>Join us at Dancemakers in the Distillery District for BLOCK PARTY, Frog in Hand's newest full-length creation!</H2>
November 2nd, 3rd &amp; 4th | 8:00pm
Drinks, DJ + Open Set at the AFTER PARTY on Saturday, November 4th.
 A live DJ and dancers animate the space, inspired by the geomtery of square and rectangular wooden blocks that fill the stage. These blocks are various sizes, like childhood toys redesigned to fit an adult scale and aesthetic. Block Party will be an energetic, brave dance work celebrating the power of imagination and play.
