Join us for the Bloom Wellness Connection Café, a relaxed peer support gathering for newcomers who are adjusting to life in St. John’s and looking for connection, encouragement, and community. This is not counselling, a class, or a formal program. It is a welcoming space to meet others, share experiences, talk about the ups and downs of settling into a new place, and explore simple self-care strategies that can support your well-being. We will start with introductions, have a guided conversation about settling into St. John’s, share self-care ideas, and close with time to connect casually. Attending can help you: • Feel less alone in your experience • Meet others who understand what transition and adjustment can feel like • Build confidence and connection in your new community • Learn practical self-care tools for stress, loneliness, and change • Share stories, questions, and resources in a supportive space • Take a small step toward feeling more settled and supported Whether you recently arrived, have been here for a while, or are still trying to find your sense of belonging, you are welcome. Come as you are. There is no pressure to speak if you are not ready. Listening, connecting, and simply being present are all welcome.
What Is BLOOM?
BLOOM is Amal Unite & Empower’s free wellness program, offering nature activities, art, peer support, and social drop-ins that help people connect, recharge, and feel at home in our community.
