The iconic Canadian saxophonist and composer Bob Brough has been a dominating presence on the national and international Jazz scene since the 1970s. He brings his genre spanning and evolving music to the Drom Taberna stage with his quartet of top notch Canadian improvisors Terry Clarke (drums), David Occhipinti (Electric Guitar) and Artie Roth (Acoustic and Electric bass). <h4>Find them at Drom Taberna (458 Queen Street West), March 24th from 2 to 5PM.</h4>Veteran tenor saxophonist and Juno Award winner Bob Brough continues to lead his quartet of stellar musicians into the future. Terry Clarke, expert drummer and Member of The Order of Canada, along with bassist extraordinaire Artie Roth, and newest member of the group, guitar phenom David Occhipinti, churn up a ton of musical energy wherever they perform. Audiences get excited listening to up-tempo standards and originals, moved by soulful ballads, and delighted to hear unusual rhythms in odd time signatures. You can see and hear Bob Brough and his quartet in a variety of settings from small intimate clubs to festivals stages.
