Join us for an evening of books, wine, and community at the Wrapped edition of Book+Bottle brought to you by The Event Atelier hosted by Le Marché St. George. The holidays are all about the thrill of unwrapping something unexpected, so we are closing out the year with a night where every book is a mystery until the paper comes off.
Simply bring any (narrative) book you love, wrapped up so no one can see what’s inside, paired with a bottle of wine that matches its vibe. When you arrive, you’ll fill out a card with a few clues about your book to give the rest of the room a hint, without giving the story away. Your pick could be a festive favourite, a page turner you couldn’t put down, or an underrated read you want to pass along. You might choose a sparkling bottle for a feel good read, or a deep, spiced red for something dark and cozy.
Light refreshments will be available and you are welcome to shop Le Marché St. George while you share your favourite picks and hang out. This gathering offers a relaxed setting to connect with fellow book and wine lovers over a shared love of great stories.
