Sara Wiens is an artist currently based in Salmon Arm who works in oil, acrylic and mixed media.  She has shown her work and taught art for many years across BC. Sara currently enjoys teaching workshops on art techniques and creativity to small groups of youth and adults in the North Okanagan.

**Please note that the date for this workshop has been updated**Botanical Plaster Casting is a simple process that can be used to create beautiful imprints of flowers or other plants. Tour the garden of Persue Flower Farm to choose the flora you will arrange into your own flower fossil. Learn about the creative elements of texture and composition. As you wait for your plaster to set, learn about how to properly cut, arrange, and dry fresh flowers with Sue Whitehead, owner of Persue Flower Farm. After a light lunch, clean and finish your plaster imprint to take home.
