<h3>Broadway Plan</h3><p>In March 2019, the City of Vancouver launched multi-phase planning process to create a comprehensive Broadway Plan to integrate opportunities for new housing, jobs and amenities around the new Broadway Subway. The plan will guide future growth, change and public benefits within the Broadway Plan study area.</p><h3></h3><h3>Draft Plan</h3><p>The Draft Plan sets out in greater detail the policies that will provide a clear but flexible framework to guide growth, positive change, and public benefits in the Broadway neighbourhoods of Kitsilano, Fairview and Mount Pleasant, considering long-range and shorter-term goals.</p><p>The 30-year plan is a significant opportunity to integrate additional housing and job space, new shops and services, and amenities close to high quality rapid transit to create complete, inclusive and affordable transit-oriented neighbourhoods. The Broadway Subway, improved connections and an enhanced public realm will make it more convenient and enjoyable to get around by walking, rolling, cycling, or taking transit, whether accessing daily destinations or the larger city and region</p><p>Input received in this final phase of engagement will help inform the final adjustments to the draft plan before it is considered by Council in May 2022.</p><h3></h3><h3>Sign up for our office hour sessions</h3><p>As part of our engagement on the Broadway Plan Draft Plan, we are holding remote office hours during the engagement period. City staff will be available by phone to answer questions from members of the public about the Broadway Plan and the draft plan. Office hour sessions will be held by phone.
