The Council for Advancement of African Canadians in Alberta (CAAC), operating as Africa Centre, was incorporated in 2006. We are the largest pan African non-profit organization in western Canada, serving as a community hub that provides programs and services from a place of cultural awareness and competency to the families in our diverse community.We acknowledge the diversity of our cultural background as a source of the strength that brings capacity and competencies to shape a thriving community in Alberta. Business Model 101 is the first step is to map out your idea. Using Lean Canvas you’ll work through the nine section, one-page business plan model that will allow you to create a quick snapshot of your idea. This will give you a framework for testing and validating your assumptions and will keep you focused on solution customers are looking for. You can catch Anna facilitating the occasional Business Model 101 workshop or book a Get Started meeting to learn how you can get a jump start on your idea. With a background in tourism, Anna joined the Startup Edmonton team in August 2020 and hasn&#x27;t looked back. Since then, Anna has loved getting to know the startup ecosystem and meet the founders that make up this fun community. When not at work, Anna can be found in the mountains; hiking, rock &amp; ice climbing, backcountry camping, and more.
