The Casa d'Italia is Montreal's first Italian community centre. Built in 1936 by the local Italian community of Montreal, the Casa d'Italia's mission is to honour and remember the history and heritage of Montreal's Italian community. As such, the Casa d'Italia's mandate is to showcase, encourage and support today's Italian community of Montreal.La Casa d’Italia est le premier centre communautaire italien à Montréal. Construit en 1936 par la communauté italienne locale de Montréal, le mission de la Casa d'Italia est d'honorer et de rappeler l'histoire et le patrimoine de la communauté italienne de Montréal. La Casa d’Italia a aussi pour mandat d’encourager, de soutenir et d’être une vitrine pour les talents dela communauté italienne de Montréal.

<h3>Découvrez le travail de talentueux artistes montréalais d&#x27;origine italienne au cœur de la Petite-Italie pour célébrer l&#x27;arrivée de l&#x27;été. </h3>Camera Lucida is an ephemeral exhibit hosted by the Casa d’Italia. The exhibit will showcase the work of young talented artists from Montreal of Italian descent. With the arrival of summer, we wanted to celebrate the ongoing transformation and rebirth of the Montreal and Italian community. We thought that there was no better way to do so than to gather and shed light on the work of artists illustrating powerful reflections on identity, metamorphism, and the reinterpretation of traditions. The artists presenting are the following: (1) Vee DG; (2) Luigi Iaguilli; (3) Francis Macchiagodena; (4) Leana Paparella; (5) Alessandro Seccareccia; and (6) Briana Settaro.To underlign the celebratory nature of the exhibit, food and drinks will be served, and a DJ will be present. We hope that you will join us on June 18th, 2022 from 3pm to 6pm. Tickets are on sale now for 20$ and in limited quantities. Entry is free for children under the age of 12. Avec l&#x27;arrivée de l&#x27;été, nous voulions célébrer la transformation et la renaissance continues de la communauté montréalaise et italienne. Nous avons pensé qu&#x27;il n&#x27;y avait pas de meilleure façon de le faire que de se rassembler et de mettre en lumière le travail d&#x27;artistes illustrant de puissantes réflexions sur l&#x27;identité, le métamorphisme et la réinterprétation des traditions. Pour souligner le caractère festif de l&#x27;exposition, de la nourriture et des boissons seront servies, et un DJ sera présent. Nous espérons vous voir le 18 juin 2022 de 15h à 18h. Les billets sont en vente dès maintenant au prix de 20$ et en quantité limitée. L&#x27;entrée est gratuite pour les enfants de moins de 12 ans. A presto! ***
