<p>ESNA is proud to sponsor a presentation on the complex subject of equalization.  This policy issue has frequently surfaced in Alberta political debate over the years Most recently, Alberta Premier Kenney in announcing the formation of a “Fair Deal” Panel reiterated a campaign promise to gain a “fair deal for Alberta, including a referendum on equalization payments.”  Join Professor Trevor Tombe, one of Canada’s foremost experts on Canada’s equalization formula for insights on the nuances of the formula.  In addition, Al O’Brien, Chair of the Expert Panel on Equalization and Territorial Formula Financing, will provide additional commentary. </p>
