Cannabis 101

This educational and interactive Cannabis 101 seminar strives to provide the public with knowledge needed to make informed choices about their unique cannabis needs. Join us in the BMO Centre as we discuss the following: 
      •   Cannabis 101:             o   the different strains and chemical compounds             o   effects of cannabis use on our Endocannabinoid System             o   different ailments cannabis supports             o   methods of ingestion             o   risks and sides effects             o   and how to safely and legally order cannabis 
      •   A legal information primer: rights, responsibilities and risks       •   Patient story: The Cannabis Journey
The evening will include presentations provided by a healthcare practitioner and lawyer, as well as one patient’s story, who will share their journey using cannabis as an effective method of treatment. Local certifying clinic, <A HREF="http://medmc.ca/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Medical Marijuana Consulting</A> will also be onsite to offer more information on services available at their clinic.
Light catering and refreshments will also be available.

FAQs Is there a minimum age requirement to enter the event? We ask that all those in attendance are over the age of 19. What are parking options for getting to and from the event? The BMO Centre has plenty of free parking around the building. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? No, we will have your name on a printed guest list at the door.
