Capacity Under Pressure: Functioning When Demands Don’t Let Up

218 5th AveCochrane, AB
Tuesday, Mar 3 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm
Overview

A practical session for people who are committed, and stretched thin while operating in high-demand roles. Leave with real, usable tools.

Capacity Under Pressure is a practical, in-person session focused on how pressure affects executive functioning, decision-making, emotional regulation, and recovery over time.

Rather than offering motivation or generic stress management strategies, this workshop looks at how psychological capacity is taxed under sustained demands, and what actually helps people continue to function well when workloads and responsibilities do not ease.

This session is designed for:

  • educators and school-based professionals
  • health, social service, and frontline workers
  • managers and team leads
  • coaches and caregivers operating in high-performance environments

Participants will leave with:

  • a clearer understanding of where their capacity is being taxed
  • practical tools to stabilize decision-making under pressure
  • language and frameworks that apply to real work and life conditions
  • a realistic starting point for protecting capacity over time

This session is:

  • practical and non-clinical
  • evidence-aligned and psychologically informed
  • designed to respect real-world constraints

Format:
In-person, small group (limited to 16 participants)

Location note:
This session is being hosted in Cochrane. Many participants are coming from Calgary and surrounding areas. The small, in-person format is intentional and designed to support depth, clarity, and real conversation.
