About this event

The annual Canadian Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CCUWiP) is a national conference gathering physics students and professionals from across the country. Delegates will be participating in plenary lectures, workshops, panels, networking activities, student talks, student poster sessions, and lab tours.

This professional conference aims to create an environment where delegates can build networks, present research, and explore career paths, while also promoting diversity and discussing women in physics, mental health, and LGBTQ+ issues.

La Conférence canadienne pour les femmes de premier cycle en physique (CCUWiP) est une conférence nationale qui regroupe des étudiant(e)s en physique et des professionnel(le)s de partout au pays. Les délégués participeront à des lectures plénières, des ateliers, des activités de réseautage, des présentations étudiantes, des sessions d’affichage et des tournées de laboratoire.

Cette conférence professionnelle a comme but de créer un environnement où les délégué(e)s peuvent socialiser, présenter leur recherche et explorer des chemins de carrière, tout en encourageant la diversité et discuter des enjeux que font face les femmes en physique, la santé mentale et les enjeux de la communauté LGBTQ+
