The Basic Mill training offered by CEED is the first step in getting access to the Mills inside the Brunsfield Center.

Cet événement est réservé aux membres de l'Université d'Ottawa. La formation de base à la fraiseuse offerte par CEED est la première étape pour avoir accès aux fraiseuses du centre Brunsfield. Durant cette formation, les étudiants apprendront comment effectuer des opérations de base à la fraiseuse de façon sécuritaire et efficace. Afin de participer, les étudiants sont prié de :- porter des chaussures fermée (des bout-d’aciers sont recommandés mais pas obligatoires)- porter des pantalons longs- avoir la certification de la formation de base offerte par CEED- se créer un compte Makerepo (ceci sera utiliser pour garder compte des formations reçu et donne accès aux espaces de CEED) (<a href="http://makerepo.com/new" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://makerepo.com/new</a>)- Compléter le pré-lab suivant : https://labs.makerepo.com/mill/ Tout autre équipement, outil et information seront fournis durant la formation.This event is exclusive to members of the University of Ottawa.The Basic Mill training offered by CEED is the first step in getting access to the Mills inside the Brunsfield Center. In this training attendees will learn how to use the basic operations of the milling machine safely and effectively.Attendees are required to do the following in order to participate to this event- Bring closed shoes (steel toes are not mandatory but recommended) - Wear Long Pants- Be certified in the basic machine shop training offered by CEED- Have a Makerepo account (this will be used to keep track of your certifications and give you access to CEED spaces) http://makerepo.com/new- Complete the following pre-lab : https://labs.makerepo.com/mill/All other equipment and tools will be provided during the session.
