Champagne Weather

Silence is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to presenting adventurous new concerts, workshops, screenings, and special events to the broader Guelph community. Silence is unbiased in regard to genre, culture, class, and tradition. The organization fosters risk-taking, innovation, and experimentation in all forms of music and sound, as well as other artistic expressions presented in the space. Silence strives to be the most accessible, safe, adventurous space for artists of all kinds in the region.

Piers Oolvai will perform an opening set. Dubbed "the future of folk music" by Canadian folk icon Ian Tamblyn, Champagne Weather (Canada) creates ever-changing tidepools of harmony and melody. Every song is a shimmering blanket of sound with flashes of Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson, Appalachian fiddle and Maritime folksong.
