ARMA Southwestern Ontario Chapter

As Information Professionals one of our most difficult challenges is getting others in our organization to implement change. ARMA SWO is very excited to offer this upcoming workshop which will be facilitated by a certified change management specialist.  Please join us for a full day of discussion and learning - as well as a delicious lunch and admission to the Huron County Museum and Historic Gaol.
Change is viewed as difficult, however, when you have the right tools and methods it is actually quite simple. Prosci, the world's most recognized Change Management organization has made change easy to understand. In your session you will learn how ADKAR (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability and Reinforcement) are the building blocks of personal change. Our day together will help us to understand how to deal with Resistance to Change. Be ready for change!
Carl Zender
<H3>BA (Econ)</H3>
Carl has been involved in training and development for over 25 years.  His extensive background in Healthcare Supply Chain Management had him working for the largest company in the industry, and founding his own company.  These experiences taught Carl many lessons in change management that he applies on a day-to-day basis.  Since 1999 Carl has been a consultant, specializing in strategic growth and change management with many not-for-profit organizations throughout North America.
Carl organizes and leads many small to large-scale events across North America.  He has been the featured speaker and facilitator for groups ranging from 15 to 3,500 people.  His engaging personality and approachability pair well with his innate ability to get things done.  His interpersonal skills help those around him to see opportunities to resolve challenges that may seem insurmountable. 
Part of Carl's personal portfolio is being a University Football Coach at both University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University.  His upbeat, positive coaching style will be readily evident when he is your instructor.
