Join us for a screening of Loeb and Wurmfeld's "Chasing Childhood" and get a sneak peek of our new home-base for our 2023-2024 term!

Come one and come all! We are so excited to be hosting a screening of Loeb and Wurmfeld&#x27;s Chasing Childhood, a documentary that looks at how a shift in parenting culture has produced young people who are overbooked, highly structured, and always supervised by well-intentioned adults, and how this is impacting their confidence and well-being in later years. Check out the trailer linked below!T﻿o top it off, the screening will take place at Eastminster Church, our new home-base for the 2023-2024 year! Our learners will also be running a concessions table, selling various snacks and treats, as well as some goods and crafts of their creation (the latter of which they&#x27;ll be keeping 100% of the commission from)! We will only be able to accept cash payments for these concessions and crafts.T﻿ickets are Pay What You Can. We appreciate any contribution and recognize that cost is often a barrier for some. Please contribute however much you are comfortable with, and whatever you see fit.C﻿ome out and take a look at our new space, chat with our learners, and immerse yourself in a film which may touch on some of the worries, challenges, and experiences you may be navigating. Doors will open at 6:15, and the screening will start at 7.How to get there:E﻿astminster Church is located at 310 Danforth Avenue. There is a Green P located at 242 Danforth Avenue, just a two minute walk from the Church. Via TTC, the Church is a 3 minute walk from Chester Subway Station.
