The City of Calgary, through consultation with the community, has released a draft Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) and are inviting the public to provide input between April 19 and May 8. This is a critical point in the process, where public feedback is highly valued.Chinatown&#x27;s new Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) is a statutory document that will help guide where and how future growth and development should happen. This plan is unique because it will be influenced by Chinatown’s Cultural Plan. The goal is to make sure the area is vibrant and thriving now and for future generations.

The ARP will provide a long-term vision for how land can be used or rezoned in the future. It will give guidance and direction based on unique local conditions or circumstances. The plan can be updated as local conditions and circumstances change.The team will provide an overview of the draft Chinatown ARP and answer any questions you may have. We will also show how you are able to provide your feedback on the draft plan. The presentation will be shared in English.
