Chocolate Truffle Class

I'm a chocolatier in Vancouver, BC, who believes that once you learn the chocolate basics, you shouldn't be fussed about following rules. Loving local tastes and fun flavours.REFUND POLICY: We offer refunds on a case by case basis, but only in exigent circumstances. Situations in which we will NOT issue refunds are if you forget that you bought tickets, if you double booked another event, or if you failed to allow enough time for travel or failed to purchase enough tickets for your group and the event is now sold out.Tickets are PER PERSON and unticketed observers are NOT allowed in our classes. Due to cost expenditures, limited space,  and difficulty selling cancelled tickets on short notice, we do not offer refunds requested with less than 48 hours notice. Tickets are transferrable to another attendee of your choice at any time, we simply request that you inform us by email of the change and provide the alternative attendee with a copy of your ticket. We are not responsible for the security of your email, and in instances where more than one person shows up per ticket, we reserve the right to require ID and to refuse entry to anyone other than the ticket purchaser. In instances of illness or emergency, we can, in some circumstances, offer a transfer to another class date, with only one transfer permitted per order.  We do not offer refunds on previously transferred tickets.  In the case where we cancel a class, a transfer or refund will be offered by email. Failure to respond to this offer within 45 days of the cancellation email will be considered the same as if you were a no-show to our event and we will refuse all refund and transfer requests.AGE POLICY: Our classes are generally 16 and over. In limited circumstances we will allow students younger than 16, provided that they are accompanied by an adult guardian. Please contact us before purchasing tickets. We reserve the right to refuse to allow anyone under 16 to attend if prior notice has not been given and no refunds will be issued in these circumstances. Please note that our instructors are not trained nor qualified to supervise children under 16.

Create your own chocolate art with hand painted truffles!

#150 - 1507 Powell St, Vancouver, BC

Hands on class for decorating your own hand painted truffles. We will help you prepare and paint a mold, make a truffle ganache, cap your chocolates, and discuss shelf life, problems with molding and capping, and different design techniques. This class is nut free (please note that other companies in our facility do cook with nuts) and vegan friendly.Cost of class includes: - one kilo of Cacao Barry couverture in dark, milk or white for shelling, - use of our cocoa butter colours to decorate your mold - ingredients to make a small batch of truffle ganache to fill your trufflesYou must use your own truffle mold. If you have more than one mold, feel free to bring them with you. You may also purchase molds from us before the class. Other tools will be provided. If you own any equipment purchased from previous classes, please feel free to bring your tools with you. We will also have other tools and additional molds for optional purchase at the class. ***TO TAKE THIS CLASS YOU MUST EITHER HAVE TAKEN OUR CHOCOLATE TEMPERING CLASS OR HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO TEMPER CHOCOLATE. WE DO NOT TEACH TEMPERING IN THIS CLASS, AND WILL ONLY REVIEW THE BASICS.***
