Clay Space Present: Urn Making Workshop
A thoughtful handbuilding workshop focused on memory, ritual, and personal interpretation.
There are so many ways we celebrate life and death and this workshop is about celebrating the life of a loved one in how you interpret their memory. We will guide you through some basic handbuilding techniques and show you different styles for a burial urn. Participants may select a very simple and restraint project or something more elaborate and eccentric. Your urn can be for someone who has already passed; a loved one, a friend, a family member or a pet. Or the urn can be made for yourself.
