<h2>Description</h2><p>You are invited to the Coding Calamity Mini-Hackathon, a Westmount after-school event. Mid-high students will get to code together, accumulate experience, and have fun!</p><p>Students will work alone or with friends to complete interactive projects, complete with educational content and extra learning material. This first event will be string-based, and there will be material about characters and concatenations. </p><p>A mini-competition will be hosted, and prizes will be awarded to the coder who creates the best mad-libs.</p><p>Feel free to notify your friends or redirect them to this page. </p><p>Registration is uncapped!</p><p></p><h3>FAQs</h3><h3>- What is a hackathon?</h3><p> A hackathon is an event where hackers (coders) gather together and create projects. At the Westmount mini-hackathon, this means that participants work alone or with friends to solve creative challenges.</p><p></p><h3>- What if I don&#x27;t know how to code?</h3><p>Don&#x27;t worry, no coding experience is required! Anyone from beginner to advanced can join. Coding collaboratively is a great learning experience for programmers of every skill level.</p><p></p><h3>- Are there any requirements?</h3><p>Anyone from grades 5-12 can come.</p><p></p><h3>- What should I bring?</h3><p>A laptop/tablet with an internet connection, and a way to get back home.</p>

<p>The event is in the <strong>Art Studio 2</strong>, <strong>First Floor</strong>, at <strong>Westmount Charter School</strong>.</p>
