Program OverviewThis facilitated half-day virtual workshop will allow participants to engage with geriatric experts and participate in a small interactive group setting.Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:<ul><li>Identify when and why to use cognitive assessment tools</li></ul><ul><li>Describe scientific and ethical considerations related to the use of clinical tools</li></ul><ul><li>Employ cognitive assessment tools in a standardized and consistent manner</li></ul><ul><li>Interpret cognitive tests</li></ul>Who should attend?Health care providers responsible for or interested in conducting cognitive assessments of older adults.Tools and topics discussed include:When Should We Use These Tests and Why?Standardized Mini Mental State Exam (SMMSE)Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA)Respondent BurdenConfusion Assessment Method (CAM)Trail Making Test BClock Drawing Test (CDT)Refund Policy: Refunds may be requested up to 2 weeks in advance of the workshop.
