Collaboration: Building a Common Ground

McArthur PlaceLac la Biche, AB
Thursday, Apr 16 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm MDT
Overview

A luncheon keynote on building trust, leading through differences, and finding common ground in our communities.

This luncheon features a keynote presentation focused on how collaboration works in diverse communities, and why building trust takes time, intention, and strong leadership.

Drawing on real-world experience and research, the speaker will explore:

  • why trust can be difficult to build across groups
  • how fear and past experiences shape collaboration
  • practical ways leaders can create common ground
  • how trust grows through consistent, deliberate action

The keynote will also touch on the importance of personal resilience — how leaders can take care of themselves while guiding others through challenging conversations and change.

This session is designed to be thought-provoking and approachable, offering ideas and perspective participants can reflect on and apply in their own work. Informal networking will be available after the keynote for those who wish to stay and connect.

Lunch and refreshments included!
