Katie-Ellen Humphries headlines with opening acts Rajneesh Dhawan and Jackson Apostolopolous.

Our old friend Cliff Prang was given the task of curating and emceeing a Comedy Night at Sidekick to tickle our funny bone... he has come through with flying colours:Katie-Ellen Humphries is a standup comedian, writer and sketch performer whose comedy has been featured on CTV, CBC Television, CMT, APTN and OUT-TV. Her comedy album Ladyfinger debuted in the top of the charts on iTunes/Apple Music. With a sensibility that falls somewhere between the library and the locker-room, this performer has become a favourite of audiences across Canada and the U.S., including regular appearances on CBC Radio’s The Debaters where she has also worked as a writer and Associate Producer. Katie-Ellen is also a 3-time Canadian National Open Water 5k Swimming Champion. That’s unrelated to comedy, but it explains the shoulders.Rajneesh Dhawan is an Associate English Professor at the University of the Fraser Valley. In short, he’s smarter than you. Mr. Dhawan is also a rising comic. He is a 2 time Fraser Valley Comedy contest winner, a regular headliner, and has appeared at Just For Laughs Northwest. In short, he’s also funnier than you. Jackson Apostolopolous is a Grade 12 student, so it is illegal to buy him a pint. He is a devoted student of comedy and has Graduated the LaughterZone 101 comedy program 3 times. Apostolopous is Greek for ‘a very nice boy’.
