Join award-winning cartoonist, Gareth Gaudin, as he leads this discussion on the history and creative breakthroughs of comics through the decades and a workshop on how to make and publish our own with helpful guidelines on composition and design.

Pencil, 8.5x11 inch white paper, black ink pen, eraser.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Gareth Gaudin is a Cartoonist, comic book store, owner, instructor of comics at Camosun College, and comic book creator in Victoria British Columbia. He has published 320 books, made numerous films, and draws a daily Comic strip featuring characters such as the Perogy Cat and The Monster Sisters.
CLASS LOCATION
This workshop is hosted by the Arts & Culture Colwood Society at the Goldfinch Arts Centre, a bright & modern gallery space that looks out to the Esquimalt Lagoon and the Colwood Waterfront beyond, where you will be surrounded by original artwork by local artists in our 17th annual BLOOM exhibition which runs from April 2nd throught May 3rd.
