Families Supporting Regular Equitable and Authentic Lives (REA-L) envision a future in which people with developmental disabilities have inclusive lives that are fulfilled, self-directed and result in a good life which does not solely rely on traditional services and programs.

An exploration of the limitless possibilities that paving the way to an inclusive life can bring for people with intellectual disabilities.

Event Details:📅 **Date:** Tuesday March 19th 2024 🕒 **Time:** 6:30pm - 8:30pm (PST) 📍 **Location:** This is an online event.A link will be sent to all registered participants on the day of the event.Join us for an exciting event where families will share stories and reflect on how they support their family member's desire and vision to live a regular, equitable and authentic life.At our gathering this month, we'll move forward with "Commanding Hope" and HOW we can use our critical thinking skills to identify ways to open doors and make positive changes that help our family members live a more inclusive and fulfilling life.Lets take action to prepare, practice and respond to the bumps along the way. More Information: We believe that inclusion happens when the lives of children and adults with an intellectual disabilities unfold no differently; immersed together with their non-disabled peers in the same pathways and experience of life common to us all. This includes building and nurturing friendships, having dreams, going to college/university, traveling, pursuing a career, falling in love, having a home of your own, and contributing to the fullness of our communities as any citizen would through out their life.During this on-line event, you'll have the opportunity to meet and connect with families who share a similar vision of inclusion .
