About this event

You will enjoy food and conversation with community members from the neighbourhood. Our Chef Thompson Tran from the Wooden Boat Food Company is preparing the meal. (This will include Vegan, Vegetarian and Halal options). Members from local government, and the wider community are also being invited making this an opportunity for you to share what you are doing. The Civic Hub is a group of organizations who advocate for our community. Volunteers from the Community Kitchen Co-operative Kitchener-Waterloo Inc are organizing this dinner and will make you feel welcome.

Enter the building on the the corner of Duke and Water - Kitchener - through the accessible entrance on Duke Street.

This event is free; a donation is appreciated but not necessary.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I park?

On Sundays there is free parking in the City Hall Underground Parking. Also there is on-street parking on Water St and Duke St. Parking is also available behind the University of Wilfred Laurier Social Work building on College Street.

What if I have a food allergy?

We are providing Vegan, Vegetarian and Halal food options. If you have a food allergy, please reply in EventBrite and we will be aware of your concern.

The Community Kitchen Co-op of Kitchener-Waterloo (CKCKW) is partnering with the City of Kitchener, the City of Waterloo, the United Way of Waterloo Region, and other community organizations to bring people together for meals and workshops using kitchens, ingredients and talent from our community.  We build community, increase food security and support food innitiatives in the region.
