V﻿irtual registration only, for in-person registration, click <a href="https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/community-knowledge-sharing-circle-in-person-registration-tickets-642456393367" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.The National Advisory Committee on Residential Schools Missing Children and Unmarked Burials was established by the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation to provide First Nations, Inuit and Métis governments, communities and families with access to expert, unbiased information about all aspects of the search for the children who never returned home from residential schools and similar institutions.The Committee is guided by a Circle of Survivors and is made up of individuals with extensive experience in a wide range of fields, including archival research, ground searches, police investigations, forensics, and trauma informed health supports.The Advisory Committee is hosting a Community Knowledge Sharing Circle with community partners on Saturday, June 10 th. There will be short presentations from some of the expert members of the Committee. We are also providing a platform for communities in the region to share their experiences and learn from the Survivors.Master of Ceremonies:<ul><li>Tanya Lantz and Lawrence Nayally</li></ul>Featuring performances by:<ul><li>Leela Gilday</li></ul><ul><li>Yellowknife Dene First Nation Drummers</li></ul>Event is free of charge. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided to onsite participants.Health Supports will be provided onsite.
