Complex Root Cause Analysis - Thinking Beyond Symptoms to Systemic Causes

Online event
Saturday, Mar 21 from 8:30 am to 12 pm EDT
Overview

Learn Root Cause Analysis to eliminate recurring problems using proven tools and real-world case studies in this hands-on workshop.

Overview

Most organizations are very good at fixing symptoms—but struggle to eliminate the true root causes of recurring problems.

This half-day, instructor-led workshop is designed to build strong problem-solving capability by teaching a structured, end-to-end Root Cause Analysis (RCA) approach, grounded in real-world manufacturing case studies. Participants will learn how to move beyond quick fixes and opinions by applying logical thinking, data, and proven problem-solving methods such as 5 Whys, A3 problem solving, SIPOC, and Fishbone analysis.

The course emphasizes systems thinking—helping participants understand how people, process, materials, equipment, and environment interact to create problems. Through guided exercises and realistic mock-up cases, participants will practice each step of the RCA journey from problem definition to sustainable control.
