G﻿reen Economy CanadaGreen Economy Canada is a national non-profit accelerating Canada's transition to a vibrant and inclusive net-zero future. Through our network of Green Economy Hubs, we help businesses take action on climate change and build sustainability into their operations. Altogether our network has engaged over 600 businesses to collectively reduce over 225,000 tonnes of GHG emissions -- the equivalent of removing 69,000 cars off the road for one year. Nous soutenons un réseau de carrefours de l'économie verte à travers le Canada qui aide les entreprises à prendre des mesures contre le changement climatique et à intégrer la durabilité dans leurs activités.  Nous partageons également des exemples de réussite d'entreprises qui prennent des mesures afin d'inspirer d'autres entreprises à faire de même et de rendre l'économie verte visible. Enfin, nous travaillons en collaboration avec les décideurs politiques afin d'éclairer les politiques et les investissements verts qui peuvent accélérer les efforts de durabilité des entreprises. Nous avons une dizaine d'années d'expérience de travail avec les entreprises à travers le pays et nous comprenons leurs besoins.  À ce jour, notre réseau a impliqué plus de 600 (six cent) entreprises qui ont réduit collectivement plus de 225 000 tonnes d'émissions de gaz à effet de serre, ce qui équivaut à retirer plus de 69 000 voitures de la circulation chaque année.

<P>Join us at our annual reception, Connect 2018, to celebrate the progress of over 250 businesses in Green Economy Hubs across Ontario setting and achieving sustainability goals.</P>
<P>Our theme this year is <STRONG>It's Possible</STRONG>. All across our network, businesses are setting environmental targets, implementing sustainability projects, and demonstrating that sustainability and profitability go hand-in-hand. We will have a lot of celebrate with <STRONG>56 GHG reduction targets set</STRONG> and businesses collectively committing <STRONG>102,874 tonnes of GHGs to be reduced</STRONG> and with <STRONG>59,105 tonnes of GHGs already reduced</STRONG>.</P>
<P>You'll hear their stories and a panel discussion on Sustainability Across Party Lines from leading investors, policy experts, and businesses.</P>
