For one afternoon only connect in person with recruiters from companies in Saint John looking to fill a range of positions in various sectors including IT, Business Services, Healthcare, Engineering and Hospitality & Tourism.

The Connect & Settle Hiring Fair is Free of Charge to attend and is a unique opportunity to learn more about companies looking to fill open positions immediately in Saint John by speaking directly with representatives of these companies. Its also a great way to highlight your skills and experience in person!

We welcome people searching for opportunities at various career levels in a range of industries so make sure to brush up your résumé / CV, iron out your interview suit, and get ready to move one step closer to connecting & settling into your new career.

To help you master your résumé / CV, there are workshops available at:

1. Work Room

Offer one-on-one resume/cover letter writing assistance by appointment only. Anyone interested in one-on-one assistance can call (506) 658-5580 or drop in to the Work Room to book an appointment.

2. Saint John Newcomer Centre

First Steps to Employment (Get Connected) - Geared to prepare newcomers to be job ready in the Canadian workforce

The module will include what you need to know about the Canadian workforce including:

• How to prepare the 5-minute pitch
• How to utilize your networking skills to better meet future employers
• How to maximize the opportunities at the job fair
• How to sell yourself and your skills

The program will be offered at the centre on the following dates:
