WHAT IS THE THEME: What is joy and how do we get more of it? Joy is a result of cultivating gratitude, practicing mindfulness, and allowing ourselves to be fully seen and connected with others. As Brene Brown emphasizes, joy is not the absence of pain or struggle, but rather the ability to find lightness, gratitude, and meaning in the midst of challenges. On July 7th, let’s start a conversation that matters around how we can find more joy, give more joy, and fill our communities with more joy. Because who doesn’t want to live life with more joy?WHAT ARE LIFEAPP LIVE EVENTS: LifeApp Live is a community event mixing the arts, music, talks, and stories, together with an after party and some great food, to start conversations that matter around the art, science, and spirit of love. The goal is to create an environment where everyone regardless of cultural background, world view, spiritual belief, or socio-economic status is inspired to get in the game and play their part in creating a world rooted and grounded in love: toward ourself, others, and our planet.WHEN DO DOORS OPEN?Doors open at 7:00pm. We recommend arriving no later than 7:15 to allow 10-15 min for check-in. The Live event starts at 7:30pm.DO I NEED TO BRING MY TICKET?You can bring a printed ticket or display your eTicket on your phone. There will also be tickets available at the door. However space is limited so reserving your tickets is recommended.CONTACT US:You can email info@lifeapp.ca or call LifeApp hosts: Teresa Penner 604-825-2223 Jonathan Penner 778-552-1282
