Learn about  how what we eat impacts the climate, food systems, and how cooking can be climate action!

In the interest of our collective health and well-being this workshop will occur online. How does the food we eat impact the climate? Join us for an online session of learning, practical tips, and recipe ideas where we will explore ways we can make food choices that are friendlier for our environment, and learn how to take climate action in your kitchen!In this workshop, we will:<ul><li>Explore food systems and climate mitigation and resilience;</li><li>Discuss the importance of urban agriculture and local food;</li><li>Share actionable ways that you can take climate action;</li><li>Provide some tasty recipes and cooking strategies to reduce your carbon footprint.</li></ul>Ecosource is an innovative environmental organization inspiring our community to care about and take personal action for the environment through creative public education. The Peel Local Food Literacy in Action project increases opportunities for Peel residents to connect with nature, understand their impact on the local food system through hands-on field-to-table learning and take action to improve the health of their communities through neighborhood projects.
