Overview
The Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education program.
CORE is a hunter education program and the first step towards obtaining a hunting license. Participants learn about conservation, hunting ethics, wildlife identification, outdoor survival, regulations, and safe firearm handling. Successful completion of the CORE written and practical examinations allows individuals to obtain a Fish & Wildlife ID (FWID), which is required to purchase hunting licences and species tags in British Columbia.
Please bring two pieces of ID , pencils/highlighters, paper and a water bottle and snacks. We will also provide some snacks and refreshments.
