Craft Beer 101

TheCampaign for Real Ale Society of British Columbiawas incorporated in 1990 as a registered non-profit organization in the province of British Columbia. CAMRA BC is dedicated to the promotion and responsible consumption of natural, crafted beers.Membershipacross BC is made up of over 1500 individuals and continues to grow. CAMRA BC members are eager to apply their talents and experience to promoting widespread public appreciation of the many “real beers” that have become available in recent years.CAMRA BCis growing and opening up branches (CAMRA Vancouver being one of them) throughout the province to make it more accessible to all. CAMRA Vancouver is governed by a voluntary, unpaid executive elected by the membership.

CAMRA Vancouver

The purpose of this class is to lay down a foundational knowledge of beer styles and how to enjoy them. Eight beer styles from around the world will be sampled while the history of beer and the brewing process is explained. After this class you will have an educated appreciation for beer and might just be able to explain its subtleties to your friends! 
 
This class is taught by CAMRA Vancouver's Education Liaison, Kai Miller.  A beer nerd, beer judge, and sometime pro brewer, he went to school for molecular biology and history of science. As always, beer samples are provided! Plan a safe way home, don't drink and drive.
 CAMRA Members - if there are only non-member tickets available, please purchase that and let us know, we can refund the price difference. 
**There are no refunds on ticket purchases, however your ticket is transferable and you are welcome to give your ticket to another person in the event you are unable to make the class**
