Craft 'N Chat (In-Person Program)
Drop-in arts, crafts, and more!
Every Tuesday (4:30-6:30 p.m.), Eating Disorders Nova Scotia will be hosting drop-in hours at our cozy space at 2711 Agricola Street in Halifax. Online registration is not required, but RSVPs are appreciated.
Craft 'N Chat (formerly 'Creative Expressions') is for socializing and engaging in mindful activities like crafts, puzzles, and games in a non-judgmental space. Every other Tuesday (April 14 , May 12 & 26, June 23), participants will be invited to simultaneously Recharge with Risser the Therapy Dog! Risser (aka Little Risser) is a 7-year-old Maltese-Yorkie who has been a certified therapy dog with Therapeutic Paws of Canada since January 2024. Risser's handler, Marriam, is one of Dalhousie University's psychologists and has offered therapy dog programs to students for many years.
If you're looking for a low-pressure opportunity to visit our home, make friends, pet a dog, and find joy in a new hobby, Craft 'N Chat is perfect for you! Feel free to bring your own supplies or borrow ours. Craft 'N Chat is currently being offered for free; donations are gratefully accepted.
