Date and Time: February 26, 2026
Event starts at 6:00 PM
Doors open at 5:30 PM
Location: Cecil Community Centre, 58 Cecil St, Toronto, ON M5T 1N6
About the Event
Craft Symposium is inspired by a study trip to Venice that seeks to interrogate the state of craft in Toronto and in contemporary architecture. The event aims to promote diverse perspectives influencing craft in architecture, questioning the authorship of its performance and the architect’s role in the process. Beyond current conventional practice, the symposium will further explore the role of craft in education, society, and the future trajectory of the field, catering to people of architecture and adjacent faculties.
