Creative Connections: DIY December

At TVCC, we work to support children and their families to achieve the highest possible quality of life. Through a family-centered approach, we provide a variety of services, resources and supports for children and youth with physical disabilities, communication disorders, developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders across Southwestern Ontario. We aim to assistclients to be their best!

TVCC

TVCC Youth  with disabilities, 12 - 19 yrs, who reside within Elgin/Middlesex, Huron/Perth, Grey/Bruce & Oxford County.

Dates/Times: December 9, 4:30-6:30pm and December 16, 6:00-7:30pm. *There is a Caregivers Connecting group running at the same time on Dec 16 if you are interested in attending while your child is in Creative ConnectionsTVCC clients 12 years old and over are invited to participate in this workshop designed to promote creative exploration.The youth will be encouraged to create different structured art or craft projects, using different mediums and approaches during Creative Connections. They will also be supported to make it their own. These projects are approriate for youth interested in a variety of arts and crafts and who are able to work independently on their project. Youth who need additional support are welcome to bring a support person.All materials will be supplied.In this series, youth will work on building creative and artistic leisure skills, strengthening existing fine motor and planning skills, and make connections with other youth who have similar interests.Participant criteria:TVCC clients ages 12-19Able to participate in group and engage in artistic expression with or without accommodations/support persons
