Creative Third Thursdays

Our guest for the upcoming November 19th event is Sarah Sovereign RCC, The Creative Counsellor!

This month, we're welcoming Sarah Sovereign to Studio C for an intimate Creative Third Thursdays conversation about the intersection of art, mental health and the power of storytelling.

Sarah is a Chilliwack-based visual artist, photographer and Registered Clinical Counsellor whose work explores the deeply personal connections between creativity, identity, grief and healing.

With a background in both visual arts and counselling, Sarah brings a unique perspective to the creative process. Her photography transforms complex emotions and lived experiences into vibrant visual narratives, while her counselling practice, The Creative Counsellor, encourages individuals to embrace their authentic selves and find space for expression, reflection and growth.

Throughout the evening, we'll explore Sarah's creative journey, how her experiences have shaped her approach to both photography and counselling and the importance of nurturing creativity without the pressure of constant productivity.
