About this event

What's this workshop about?

When used effectively, unreliable narrators can infuse your work with mystery and intrigue, keeping your reader off-balance and on the edge of their seat. In this workshop Lindz McLeod shows you how to structure believable, interesting dialogue. Using exercises designed to create subtextual clues, she’ll lead you through the process of ‘breadcrumbing’ – dropping clues for your reader. Next, she’ll help you create an unreliable character, and show you how to apply these dialogue techniques to your prose to create a narrator that readers want to believe, but know they can’t trust.

When does this workshop happen?

Saturday, October 23, 11 AM EST / 4 PM BST
