Crowded Table Cafe Opening Celebration

Join us at the MacBain Community Centre to celebrate the grand opening of the Crowded Table Cafe! Come enjoy samples of our menu, great vibes, and be among the first to experience what a difference a social enterprise can make. The celebration kicks off on March 4, 2026 at 4:30 PM (Eastern Time).

Now, we are ready to grow. We are lauching our catering to support the revenue stream. The café is more than a place to eat, it serves as a community hub, offering nutrition workshops, wellness education, and social opportunities that reduce isolation and build meaningful connections. Seniors, newcomers, and low-income families will benefit most directly, the café will remain welcoming to people of all ages and backgrounds. To deliver high-quality service, we have integrated a volunteer model to augment paid staff, ensuring that everyone involved feels supported and valued.
