Curious Brews is for anyone - students, professors, professionals, science fans, and the simply curious - who want a taste of science shared by expert speakers and engaging storytellers. If you enjoy science, stories, and good conversation, you’re welcome here - no background or expertise required.

Do I need to bring anything?

Feel free to bring a notebook and writing utensils in case you want to jot down Dr. Mushahwar’s insights or any questions that come to mind. Beyond that, just bring your curiosity—we’re looking forward to learning with you!

No! Curious Brews is a relaxed, curiosity-driven gathering where attendees can explore interesting research and ideas, enjoy great conversations, and connect over shared interests. Think of it as an informal community meetup with an intellectual flavour.

Is there a dress code?

Casual to business attire - whatever makes you comfortable. We’re creating a relaxed atmosphere focused on learning, connection, and curiosity.

MKT Fresh Food offers complementary parking. Go to the main desk and they can walk you through validating parking. There are additional street parking around MKT, as well as parking lots near the High Level Streetcar (Whyte Ave Terminal).
