Overview

Bringing undergraduate students together to reimagine the future of food systems throughout a mixed case competition and career fair.

Climate Innovation Summit 2026March 22, 2026 | SFU Student Union Building

Join us for an environmental case competition on Food Systems, Insecurity, and Sovereignty, that brings together undergraduate students in Vancouver with NGOs, companies, professors, SFU alumnis, and community members to translate knowledge to action.

The event will host multiple opportunities for networking, from tablings to small group workshops, aiming at presenting students with multiple angles on how to plan their careers around sustainability. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, we expect all faculties to help students re-imagine their day-to-day and their careers, producing practical solutions for food systems challenges, embedding sustainability as a value.

The Summit is designed to show students that sustainability is present in every profession and career pathway, from policy and business to engineering, communications, physics, community work, and entrepreneurship.

Join us to network and discover how your field can contribute to climate and food systems change!
